Saturday Morning Dance Class Represents Multicultural Exchange Center at Councillor Alan Ho’s Community Fun Day

Updated: Mar 2, 2025

The Saturday morning dance class from the Multicultural Exchange Center participated in the Community Fun Day hosted by Councillor Alan Ho on July 7 at the Aaniin Community Centre. They performed the opening act, a dance titled Tea Mountain Love.

The day was bright and sunny, and the community centre was bustling with excitement and laughter. As the opening performance, Tea Mountain Love captivated the audience with its familiar melody and the dancers’ coordinated outfits, instantly drawing everyone’s attention.

The dancers moved in perfect harmony, their graceful and lively movements perfectly capturing the joyful spirit of tea-picking girls working happily in the fields.

Tea Mountain Love is the first complete dance piece learned by the beginner classical dance class led by Instructor Jiang earlier this year. Most of the students are new to dance, but after just a few months of practice, they have not only improved their physical fitness but also gained an appreciation for the elegance and beauty of Chinese dance.
